Samantha Guter

I am a recent grad of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a passion for creativity. With minors in the Honors program, art and theatre, I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. Right now, I'm pursuing careers in higher education where I can continue to refine my communication skills through student affairs and marketing positions at education institutions and museums.

I'm currently an Orientation Intern for First Year Experience in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs at Ithaca College, where I've worked on many projects including managing the OSEMA social media accounts, supervising 20 Orientation Leaders and an Office Assistant, organizing the OL schedule and attending sessions.

On campus, I held multiple leadership roles as a Leadership Scholar, social media coordinator for the Honors Program, Teaching Assistant for intermediate and advanced sculpture, Apartment Assistant in Circles and Manager at Campus Center & Events Services, I thrive in positions of leadership.

I previously interned at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC as a web and new media intern, overlooking and managing their social media presence.
