Student, Visual Merchandiser, and Part-Time Model in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Hi there, I’m Samantha! I’m a student currently living in Toronto, Ontario, attending school at Ryerson University. I also spend my days working as a Visual Merchandiser and Part-Time Model for the clothing company Brandy Melville. I have a passion for art, fashion, and food so when I’m not busy with school or work I love to be a tourist in my own city and explore art galleries, find cute shops, and eat tasty food.
I started attending Ryerson University in the fall of 2017, prior to which I spent a year attending McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. After spending a year at McGill studying mathematics I soon realized that my mind craved creativity and that math was just not for me. This realization led me to the Creative Industries program at Ryerson in which I am currently enrolled in and loving!
Creative Industries at Ryerson is an interdisciplinary program where I will graduate with the combination of a Bachelor of Arts degree with a business specialization. Within my program, the creative sectors I have chosen to specialize in are Media Business and The Fashion Industry. Graduating with knowledge in both the creative and business sectors of the economy will definitely give me an upper hand in any future job prospects I come upon. Though my future is not set in stone, post-graduation I hope to further my career within the fashion industry, possibly working as a fashion marketer, coordinator, or buyer.
