Samantha Lee

Having gained my grounding in HR MANY years ago, I soon realised that my passion was for all things recruitment. During the last 15 years or so I've recruited a wide variety of roles including secretarial, business support professionals, lawyers and senior board members. I've also been responsible for the recruitment and development of our early careers programmes which includes graduates and apprentices. The majority of my time is now spent leading and developing a team of very talented recruitment professionals (which is honestly one of the best parts of my role) and focusing on the wider talent acquisition strategy.

My day to day focus at the moment is very much on employer branding, social media, direct sourcing channels, improved assessment methods and better use of IT, with my key priority for the next few months being our apprenticeship programmes, both existing and new, to ensure that we're really maximising the apprenticeship levy investment.

I genuinely love what I do and I hope people recognise that enthusiam and passion.

I live in Bristol with a crazy moggie and a very understanding husband. I'm a terrible cook but a complete foodie! Beer definitely trumps wine and I have an unhealthy addiction to books (see very understanding husband).
