Samantha Lambert
London, United Kingdom.
Originally from a small town in rural Arkansas, I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BA in History. A short while later I was accepted into the Holocaust Studies MA program at Royal Holloway University of London. During my time in London, I felt more at home than anywhere else and the city has completely captured my heart.
Currently I am figuring out which future degrees I want to pursue. I am particularly interested in the role that film plays in the portrayal of historical events and the influence this has on collective memory. Eventually I hope to find a career in film.
I love reading, watching films, classic rock music, and long drives with no specific destination. I get downright nerdy about Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Marvel. Travelling is one of my biggest passions and in the past year I went to London, Paris, Edinburgh, Brussels, Budapest, Krakow, and Washington DC.
I believe that learning is the key to the world; the quirky things in life are the best; and that traveling alone is an experience everyone should enjoy at least once in their life.
