Samantha Stevens

Samantha Stevens is a social-media savvy and leadership driven communications professional who has experience working in the non-for profit , publishing, event management and marketing sector. With her expertise in social media marketing, public relations & strategic communications, Samantha has been successful in developing long term relationships with her clients and providing exceptional public relations practices in any given situation. She strives on creating unique concepts for her clients to ensure that their message and brand speaks for itself and has an effect on the target audience.

In addition, Samantha has been published both academically and professionally on various topics of writing which has allowed her to have a strong and diverse portfolio. Samantha has written on behalf of eOne Entertainment, Eye Weekly Magazine, Annual Giving Magazine and online blogsphere.

Yet, Samantha has also worked with organizers such as Canadian Colour Blast , Epilepsy Toronto, Virgin Music Festival, Canadian Music Week, North By North East festival, Toronto Honda Indy and PR corporate organizations such Hill and Knowlton and the City of Toronto PR team to put together events for the community or product launches.

Samantha graduated in 2013 from Mount Saint Vincent University with her Masters degree in Public Relations. She spent two years studying organizational behavior and theory combining her interest in human relations, popular culture and of course public relations. She completed her research study titled: "Managing Cultural Change within a Global Industry: Using Creativity to Bridge a Community within the Process Industry" which examined cultural change in print advertising due to the affects of organizational change. Samantha is an alumni student from Humber College's Advanced Public Relations Program (2011) and the University of Guelph' Bachelor's Applied Arts Honors degree Media Studies Program (2011)
