Samantha Henning
Say what? Say me.
Samantha Henning is my name and dancing is my game. I have been participating in competitive dance for nine years and I am currently on the Red Hotz competitive dance team here at the University of Georgia.
Even though I was born and raised as an only child in the town where the famous Masters golf tournament is held each year, Augusta, Georgia, I am not a big fan of golf. However, I figured I should go see what the big-to-do was with the whole thing. But after all the walking, sweating, and not being able to use my cell phone, I decided I would leave the tickets to the hard- core golf fans. I may not like walking around the golf course, but I do however like walking around the beach or especially my back yard next to the pool. There is just something peaceful about being near the water. I always love when it's a hot day so I can throw on my bathing suit and head outside to listen to nature and lay in the warm sun.
That being said, it is probably evident that my favorite season is summer. No shoes, no school, and no problems. Working as a lifeguard consumes some of my free time during the sweet summertime. It is the absolute best job in the world since I get to help and protect people while also getting to do one of my favorites things: be outside by the pool. But during my favorite season when I'm not at the beach, the pool, or working, I like to spend time traveling. Some of the places I have had the opportunity to travel to include Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Cayman Islands, Cancun, and Cozumel. I intend to peruse traveling in the future, after I am making big bucks as an interior designer that is, which is currently my major here at UGA.
