I'm Sami and I'm currently a student teacher at Mossville Elementary school. I will graduate from the Elementary Education program at Illinois State University in December 2017. In January I will begin a full-time kindergarten teacher position at St. Edwards in Chillicothe, Il. I am also a preschool teacher in the summers. I love being creative and working with kids. My favorite TED Talk says, "Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be" -Rita Pierson. I strive to be this teacher/person for all of my students. I hope to touch many lives in my future career.
