Samantha Shannon

Samantha Shannon is a young and talented dancer who places value on creativity and the exploration of movement. She has been training since she was 2 years old and competing since she was 4. She is currently in the Commercial Dance Studies program at George Brown studying under the influence of Derek Sangster. She has been trained in styles such as Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Chorus Repertoire, and Tap, and has completed up to her Gold level BATD exams in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. She graduated from the RAP Dance program at St. Elizabeth, and got the bulk of her training at Vlads Dance Company under the influence of Vlad Novitski, Linda Garneau, Tatiana Parker and Eryn Waltman. She has been part of productions such as Prima Volta from Bridge to Artists as well as the City TV New Years Eve performance by Aleesia. She looks forward to continuing her training and gaining new experiences.
