Samantha Sorrells

I am currently seeking a marketing internship in the professional sports industry. My work experience entails volunteering for organization in my hometown called Education Compact. With this organization, I participated in projects that included assisting renovation of the public library, ecological preservation of city parks, and interacting with senior citizen and youth groups as well as a variety of other activities. My previous job was at the Cal State Fullerton Student Recreation Center where I perform preventative maintenance on equipment and stock supplies, deliver professional and courteous customer service through assistance with specialized equipment, and greet and assist customers to customized areas of interest. I currently work at California State University, Fullerton, Housing & Residence Life as a student office assistant where I perform various administrative tasks including filing and answering phone calls, greet and assist customers, and deliver professional and courteous customer service to all customers including current and potential residents.

I have a huge passion for sports. For fourteen years, I played a variety of sports such as tennis, soccer, basketball and softball. In my spare time, I love to attend sporting events at my school along with professional sporting events such as baseball, football, or basketball. I also love to travel and spend quality time with friends and family.
