Samara Roberts

My name is Samara Bliss. My favorite things in life are sunshine, spearmint tea, honey, smiles, a good night's sleep, the color purple, and candles. I spend my evenings reading books brimming with adventure, and my mornings singing songs brimming with joy. I believe the key to happiness is putting others before oneself. My goal is to build people up, not tear them down.

My three younger siblings, all with lovely senses of humor, inspire me to be the best example I can be. As the oldest child, I have been able to handle with a Samara-ish flare all the pressures of being a natural born leader.

Sooner or later I will publish a book of poetry. I believe in the power of the written word and I aspire to use my writing to bring people joy and peace.

I am currently involved in Clark Choir and look forward to continuing to sing all my life. My two parakeets, Spider-Man and Mary Jane, constantly remind me to have fun singing and appreciate its simple, complex beauty.

I have dabbled in modeling since the age of twelve. My first agency was Diane Dick Agency, but I no longer work there because I moved to San Antonio when I was in eighth grade. Since then I have been a still life model for various artists. I hope to return to an agency in San Antonio as soon as I get my driver's license.

My faith in God plays a big role in my life. I am a part of the praise team for elementary age kids at Journey Church SA. I also teach Sunday school. I have a passion for teaching and I greatly enjoy my experience with the children each Sunday morning.

I am many things - a daughter, sister, model, poet, singer, writer, teacher, and girlfriend. But I am only one person - myself. The road I travel is often rocky and treacherous, but I choose to look at the sky instead and smile because - gee - have you ever seen a more pure shade of blue?
