My Life
Born at Kandal province in 1985, I was raised among many poor/poorest village kids who barely had enough to survive in those days. My childhood life was the mixer of hardship, food struggle, hope, dreams, and yes, rebellions too. My parents repeatedly taught their four skinny children, We must strive today, for tomorrow will be a better day. If you should know, they hardly defined life success as riches, luxury or higher degrees, but the highest level of satisifaction and peace, which usually refered to as having a lot of food to eat, and well, hoping that our shabby hut-house would not be swept along the ruthless water stream when it overflowed. When thinking about life journey, I believe my life and experience is no less when compare with many successful Cambodian individuals who climbed their slippery ladders to their up-top today. I too have waded through mud, thorns and sewage from being a lowly farmer boy to a temple boy, food hawker, genitor, kitchen hand, waiter, student, lab and library assistance, translator, tutor, teacher, lecturer, and a business person. Hungry for more of such awesome experience!
