Sam Denney
Career
I started working in the the computer games industury back in May 1997 as a 3D Artist creating model boats and racetracks. I then worked at various companies over the following years working on a number of different titles. I worked my way up the rank to 'Lead Artist' which I stayed at for a few years. The role of a lead also invloved a lot of planning, there was little or no production requirements a few years ago so this was also a part of my daily work. Ultimately the need for a full-time producer bacame apparent so I made the natural progression into this role. Having a strong art background allows me to generate planning that's accurate and covers all aspects of art production and having a technical background also allows me to understand the implemantation costs and issues and possible tool/technology developments. I have a superb tarck record for delivering on time within budgets on every project I worked on.
I love all kinds of music and play guitar (accoustic & electric), drums and bass.
I have a keen interest in photography and love crawling around derilict buildings on the odd weekend
