An interesting thing about me is that I like giving back to the community in every way that I can. I took my passion and built it into an organization that is still moving forward to this day. I created mission 10,000 lives my junior year of high school, and my senior year is when it finally got established and started becoming successful. I got to visit India to make my dreams come true by being able to create a non profit organization and educate the community about a variety of topics that they did not have access to. Some topics included public sanitation, mental health, women’s period care, and educational accesses that we provided. Our goal was to initiate this organization and establish helping communities one by one area by area and eventually we targeted the whole east side of India. We visited many girls only schools and with the funded help, we gave our presentations and provided the schools and each girl with reusable sanitary pads and period kits. Additionally, we gave them each a coupon so that whenever they were out of these resources, we would be there to give them more. Alongside these services, we created our organization big enough to the point where we got to reach the human rights commissioner of India who helped us create a bigger platform and give educational resources to the children that deserved a bright future, but did not have the means to do so. This is a little about the aspect of my life I love the most and what I achieved with it this past year.
