By day, I'm a political operative working for a State Senator. By night, I'm the Founder and CEO of Seven Seas Export, a trading company that exports to Asia.

Prior to my entrepreneurial endeavors, I was a political appointee under President Barack Obama, a staffer for a member of the United States Congress, and an analyst at the US Department of State.

I write and speak frequently on foreign policy and international trade issues. I've appeared on Business Insider, The Diplomat, Global Risk Insights, and Huffington Post Live.

I'm also very involved with the Asian American community. I was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee to serve as Commissioner for the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs and I serve on the Board of Directors of Asian Pacific Islander American for Civic Empowerment (APACE).
