Samir Al ADILI
Journalist, Editor, and Writer in the United Kingdom
With three decades of experience in journalism, I have honed my skills across a variety of media platforms, including major Iraqi and Arab newspapers, TV, and radio stations, working fluently in both English and Arabic. My tenure with Dubai TV as a correspondent stands out as a particularly enriching period, where I covered pivotal events in conflict zones like Najaf and Fallujah between 2003 and 2007—experiences that have profoundly shaped my career.
I have also served as a Broadcast Journalist and Output Editor at Russia Today TV in Moscow, followed by six years with Alaraby TV in the UK as a broadcast journalist and TV producer. My diverse roles have always been driven by a passion for creativity and professionalism, constantly seeking innovative methods in content creation, proofreading, translation, and new media editing.
Beyond traditional journalism, I am an accomplished short story writer, photographer, and essayist, with several contributions discussing media in the Middle East as an expert. My commitment to accuracy, integrity, and meticulous fact-checking has been the cornerstone of my reporting career.
Recognizing the growing importance of cybersecurity in today's digital age, I am now channeling my investigative journalism skills towards this critical field. My deep interest in cyber warfare and emerging technologies fuels my dedication to bringing the most accurate, insightful, and engaging reporting on cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and advancements.
As I navigate this new chapter, I am eager to collaborate with fellow experts and thought leaders in cybersecurity. I am committed to expanding my knowledge, developing new skills, and staying at the forefront of this rapidly evolving domain. Together, we can ensure the public is well-informed, educated, and empowered to safeguard themselves and their organizations from cyber threats.
