Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she has successfully handled a diverse portfolio of assignments, often setting new trends in business operations. Ms. Sawney has a wealth of prior experience in the corporate, media and social sectors. Deeply involved in business management at Bombay Offshore Supplies, her stint included project management, client and investor relations, finance , administration, human relations, regulatory, legal (civil and cooperate) business restructuring and business planning. She has organized several road shows for IPO’s across industries and also has the creation of Sun Image Inc. (2008) to her credit. A member of Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), she helps create value in appearance, behavior and communication skills for individuals and organizations, assisting them achieve their personal and professional goals. Ms. Sawney started her career as a ramp and still photography model. In a career spanning over seven years, she did shows for export fairs, textile companies, Indian designers and top level commercial modeling for several renowned products and designers. Ms. Sawney was the Executive Producer for the Indian television show Titiliyaan and marketed and distributed Wagle Ki Duniya, a televised serial based upon the works of the famous cartoonist RK Laxman. She also managed advertising commercial production at Orange Media Film Company for 4 years, working on several prominent consumer brands. Ms. Sawney’s continuing work on the social front includes, overseeing the operations for CALM, an area locality management committee for civic upkeep and betterment. She has established Vox Pupil, a registered public awareness platform for promoting political awareness and leadership training amongst students. Ms. Sawney holds a Bachelor’s of Arts (B.A.) degree from Elphinstone College, Mumbai.
