Sam Klemick
Sam Klemick was raised in sunny Miami. She learned to sew from her mom, a total babe of the 70s, who made all of her own clothes. Sam hated every subject in school but art, and doodled in spiral notebooks until graduation. She moved around some, until settling in Los Angeles to attend FIDM. Sam interned in New York at Betsey Johnson, the queen of badass girly fashion, learning tricks to the trade. She received a scholarship to do an extended design program from FIDM. Straight from her senior show, she was hired by the Marciano brothers and was working at Guess two weeks after graduation. After a year at Guess, juggling freelancing she decided to leave to pursue other opportunities. To name a few: sketching, designing, and styling for a variety of brands and clients; from LOW LUV x Erin Wasson, Single Dress, and various other creative endeavors.
