I am a senior physician assistant and public health professional with over eight years of experience in clinical practice, community health systems strengthening, and healthcare leadership within the Ghana Health Service.

Currently serving at Nyive Health Center in the Ho Municipality of Ghana’s Volta Region, I lead the delivery of integrated clinical and public health services across multiple sub-district facilities. My work spans patient care, maternal and child health programming, disease surveillance, community outreach, health systems supervision, and healthcare quality improvement. I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while improving access to healthcare services for underserved and hard-to-reach communities.

Over the years, I have built a reputation for combining strong clinical expertise with effective leadership and community engagement. I have successfully led and supported initiatives focused on preventive healthcare, health education, maternal and child health, family planning, and community wellness. My professional experience also includes health facility supervision, logistics and resource management, multidisciplinary collaboration, and public health advocacy.

In recognition of my leadership potential and contributions to healthcare delivery, I was selected as a Mandela Washington Fellow in 2025 under the flagship Young African Leaders Initiative of the United States Government. During the fellowship, I received advanced training in leadership in public management at Texas Tech University. I was also honoured as an honorary citizen of Lubbock, Texas, for leadership, service, and community engagement.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Community Medicine and Health from the College of Health and Well-Being, Kintampo, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the Fred N. Binka School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences. My professional interests include public health leadership, healthcare quality improvement, epidemiology, community health innovation, and equitable healthcare access.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, I am deeply passionate about volunteerism and humanitarian service. I have participated in several community medical outreach programmes aimed at improving healthcare access in underserved communities within the Ho Municipality. Internationally, I volunteered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank in Dallas, Texas, where I contributed to packaging thousands of pounds of food to support vulnerable populations facing food insecurity. I also served with Meals on Wheels in Lubbock, Texas, delivering meals and conducting wellness checks for homebound individuals to promote social support and wellbeing.

I remain passionate about strengthening healthcare systems, advancing community-centred healthcare delivery, and using leadership and service to create lasting impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
