Sammy Cushing

Hi! My name is Samantha Cushing. I am from Amherst, NH and go to school at Plymouth State University. Here, I play softball! I’ve been playing since I can remember. It helped me spark a love for fitness and wellness. I’m majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Creative Writing. I love working with kiddos! In the summer I work at the grade school in my hometown and spend most of my free time with my two dogs, Mack and Mabel. They’re brother-sister from the same litter, black and yellow labs. Mabel is a trained, licensed, and registered Therapy Dog with an organization called Pet Partners. I trained her myself for my senior project in high school, which was about teaching an old dog new tricks. If you can’t tell, I love being involved in teaching and love to learn. I started my blog, Healthyish to help people become inspired! I hope you find some motivation through my blog! :)
