When I have a guitar in my arms, I feel at peace. Whether I am strumming for fun or in front of other people, I get the biggest feeling of joy inside of me.

Starting at a young age made the rest of my musical career extremely easy. It’s hard for me to remember all of the lessons that I took to get to this point because playing the guitar now seems natural. While I started playing easy pop songs with minimal amounts of chords and chord changes, I have expanded my library of music into all different genres. My favorite genre to play is classic rock, and I feel that it is mostly due to the band I used to be in. When I was in middle school, a couple of friends and I started a band that would cover classic rock songs. We were surprisingly good and were able to make a little money for the shows that we would play. We were all best friends at the time, which made practicing insanely hard because all we wanted to do was hang out with each other. Sadly, the band had to split up due to COVID. Hopefully one day I can create a new band with a new group of friends so I can relive all of the happy moments I had.
