Hello, I am Samora Salim, an accomplished Forester with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Forestry, Environmental Conservation, Natural Resource Management, Landscape Restorationand Climate Change Mitigation. I specialize in Forest Stand Establishment and Management, Watershed Management, Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), Forest Gardening, Regenerative Agroecology, Community Economic Empowerment, Forest Policy Formulation and Implementation.

I am skilled vastly in Conservationand Carbon Project Developmentand Implementation, Woodland(natural and planted) Management, Tree Seed Collection processes, Tree Nursery Management, FMNR, Tree Breeding, Aloe Propagation, Alternative Fuel Biomass production( briquettes, biochar, sustainable charcoal production), Landscape Designs, Invasive Species Management, and Plant/tree identification.

My professional interests extend to Forestry Research, Quality Planting Material Production, Sustainable Utilisation of Wood Forest Resources and Non Timber Forest Products( Gum, Resin, Aloe), Degraded Landscape Restoration, Sustainable Energy Use, and Food security.

Professionally, I have engaged with several international organizations: CIFOR-ICRAF, Restore Africa, Global Green Alliance, World Vision, Self Help Africa, RECONCILE, Plant Village, and International Livestock Research Institute(ILRI).I have also productively collaborated with local government entities such as Baringo County Environment Department, Kenya Water Towers Agency, Kenya Redcross, and various local Self Help Groups.

By leadership, I am the Founder and C.E.O of Myexpertshub Agro-Consultancy Ltd and Co-Founder of the Regreening Lambwe Initiative, a consultancy firm in Forestry, Agroforestry, Beekeeping, and Landscaping and a local community-based organization championing environmental conservation, respectively.
