Samuel Owens

Samowens was established on the island of Oahu, in the beautiful state of Hawaii. Samuel Owens, born on Oahu and raised in Western Samoa, started in 2002 with a simple camcorder and digital camera using his own style and creativity to capture the beauty of models throughout the islands. Owens soon found support through Ken Kuroyanagi of A56Kuser Photography who provided him with his first SLR digital camera.

In 2010 Owens entered the world of Digital Filming with the help of Kahu Kalehua Featheran along with Ricardo Shima and David Kupono Fong. The three teamed up to produce a wedding television show on OC16 called "Hawaii's Wedding Professionals." Owens also launched his music video career with the video of Pegasis Rising's single "Jungle Music," which has sparked rave reviews from local industry professionals.

Samowens is an individual artist who focuses on the beauty of life from environmental features, mechanical and science to the human body. He also captures the important moments through life whether it is a special occasion or a random event. Owens grew up drawing practically his entire childhood and most of his art work are based on his surroundings. He enjoys adding onto images to make it effective and intense than the real life scene. With now days technology, Samuel has now able to bring out the best of his creative mind into digital imaging and motion pictures.
