Sam Phipps

Hello! My name is Sam Phipps. This is my about me page! I am the creator of Craftz4Kidz. I am a student working towards my Bachelor's in Secondary Education with a concentration in English. I started this blog for a school project where I was given the opportunity to basically do anything I wanted to do as long as it was beneficial to some group of people. I chose to do a crafting blog because I have been working with children for almost 10 years. I have 3 younger siblings - a 10 year old sister and 4 year old twin brothers. I have also been babysitting for a long time, and have had the great opportunity of working at the daycare that my sister and brothers attend. I have always thought that being creative plays a big part in growing as a person. It is very important for kids to get stimulation in ways other than television and video games. Crafts give children a creative outlet and an opportunity to express themselves in a different way. The crafts that I have chosen to feature on my blog are crafts that are suitable for children. There are plenty of crafts for adults to do by themselves, but my blog is based solely on crafts that children can do with the assistance of an adult/caretaker.
