I am a third-year journalism student at Ryerson University in Toronto, On., and pursuing a minor in politics. I am working towards a career in political and global affairs reporting.

I graduated from Richview Collegiate Institute, in 2013, where I was an events photographer for the yearbook, as well as a writer for the online newspaper, the Richview Herald.

I am a volunteer photographer at St. Mary's Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

I studied in the french immersion program for over 12 years; I am also fluent in English, and Amharic.

Currently, I am an intern at a fashion website called CollegeFashionista, where I write about the style and trends on my campus and the streets of Toronto. I am also a contributing writer and photographer at the Ryerson Folio.
