Hi there! My name is Samross Thorg, and I'm a freelance Videographer and Video Editor based in Toronto, Ontario. I mainly specialize in creating promotional content for events and dabbling in some motion graphic content.

My passions for video production started in highschool, when I first learned how to use a DSLR and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (notably Premiere Pro and After Effects), for the first time.

Now 3 years out of highschool, I am currently enrolled in Media Production at Ryerson University. I like to think that with my skills and passions as a videographer, I can 1) better hone my skills as a videographer through the program, 2) network with others who share the same passions as I do, and 3) broaden my horizons in the media industry and explore all the opportunities that are presented to me beyond video production Throughout my tenure, I’ve gotten to work with many different people on a variety of projects both affiliated with school activities, and beyond in my personal work. Some of these endeavours include being a co-host for What’s Poppin, a live radio show aired on Spirit Live, camera operating for both a live robotics competition and a 4th year short comedy film, and currently being one of the videographers for the Course Union for RTA Students (CURTAS). Having worked in this field for roughly 2-3 years now, it’s suffice to say that I have dipped my toes into a variety of projects, for which I am grateful for those opportunities.
