The Official Homepage of Something2Say Communications CEO, Artist, Writer, Arranger, Producer, & Publisher Samssun!

Born in Amityville, Long Island New York in 1974, (the birth year of Hip-Hop) he learned of and fell in love with the five elements (emceeing, deejaying, b-boying, graffiti writing, and knowledge) of Hip-Hop early on as a youth, making his first recording at the tender age of eleven! Dabbling in all the elements, his two major fortès were Visual Art and Moving the Crowd.

In his borough of this cultures Mecca, he spent years honing his craft recording a multitude of promotional material for underground radio, in and out of groups, and putting out independent vinyl and compact disc's. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with a host of artists (such as The Cold Krush Brothers, the Krash Krew, the Furious Five, Double Trouble, KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Red Alert, De la Soul, Redman, Keith Murray, Common, O.C., Organized Konfusion, and many others). In 2000, he retired from recording.

In 2004 he founded and became the CEO of Something2Say Communications in junction with SR Junior Period Publishing ASCAP IPI# 527539336. He later met Darren A. Quinlan (a seasoned Producer, musician, engineer, and CEO of I.Q. Productions), who would be a pivotal presence in his career. After hearing him, Darren convinced Samssun to return to writing, arranging, and producing music. The fruit of their labor, (combined with the turntableism of AyCE International) was the album "Community Service." Their follow up album was "Community Development."

Samssun and fellow artist Finsta met after the release of "Community Service", soon building a friendship as kindred spirits. Sometime later, an album was inevitable. "Community Awareness" is scheduled to be produced by Finsta (a founding member of the group Black Moon who with Bundy formed the group Finsta Bundy and was the voice behind cult independent rap classics like “Feel the High” and “Sunnyside,” the Brooklyn-raised rapper Finsta played a crucial—if overlooked—role in the development of the sound of ’90s hip-hop) for Finsta Bundy Music and released in 2018. It will be the final chapter in the Community trilogy.
