Hello, my name is Samuel Al-Harbi. I am a junior finance major currently enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.
My passion is investing in equities. I enjoy staying up to date on current financial topics and world events. I conduct research through Bloomberg and Microsoft Office software applications. I am currently an active member of the Umass Investing Club and Finance Society. In the future, I wish to work for a financial institution where I can apply my knowledge of financial concepts.
I am currently a Processing Analyst at State Street Bank and Trust. I mitigate risk for the company by ensuring accurate financial reporting in my department. I process Federal, International and Domestic securities transactions.
In my spare time I am an active member in my community. I have helped raise over $5000 dollars last semester for the Amherst Survival Center, Youth AIDS charity and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. I am in the process of coordinating a group donation for Autism Speaks as my latest project through my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon.
