Samuel Boyd

Sam is currently a student at Texas Tech who is looking forward to study marketing and advertising. He is currently enrolled in the Rawls College of Business and plans on taking classes focusing on commercial advertisement. Sam is currently a member of the Texas Tech football team as a long snapper. Through out the years he has persevered through injuries to become apart of the top 12 event elite long snappers in America. Sam has worked as a coach put in charge of large-scale student athletes. He has also been certified by the Tom Landry Fitness Center at Baylor Hospital for Lifeguard certification and Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification. Sam is currently employed as a lifeguard for Southern Methodist University as a seasonal job. To stay involved in the community he is apart of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and among other activities. He also has participated in a Wounded Warriors Fundraising campaign and a Grid Iron Heroes Program to benefit spinal injuries related to athletics.
