Samuel Kuteesa
Founding Director
Samuel Kuteesa is the founding Director of CWAY Africa Ministries, a disciple of Jesus Christ, leader, mentor, father, friend and a social entrepreneur, married to Mary with two children Ethan and Eron. He is passionate about serving children, youth and sharing God’s love, to the poor, the destitute, the lost, and the forgotten.
As a compassionate response to address the increasing obstacles faced by the children, a nursery and primary school was set-up, to lighting the fire in the hearts of children by bring HOPE and LOVE with an aim of transforming their life through education, feeding, discipleship and medical care. Most of them come from broken families, some are orphans, abandoned and others from poor homes. We endeavour to meet their physical, social and spiritual needs, as part of our holistic approach to childcare and empowerment.
Sam and family, are dedicated to providing a free supportive home for mission-minded visitors, who travel for purposes of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and humanitarian ministry. They open doors to individuals, couples, families, and small groups from around the globe, facilitating impactful short-term and long-term mission trips. Partnering with CWAY Africa Ministries, they work to inspire transformation and holistic, long-term change within Uganda's remote rural villages and slum communities.
Samuel’s life-long passion; enthusiasm and desire turned into a full-time work commitment as a founding director, doing what he loves best and gaining valuable knowledge and experience in managing CWAY Africa Ministries.
