I love League of Legends. Now to most they don't know what this means but to some it is the most vile disgusting thing somebody could have said. Even among those who play the game they openly hate and degrade the game. I, however, love it not because of the actual game, it's terrible but because of what came out of it. League of Legends was the first online game that I've played because it was free but I fell in love with it. I made my first friend group that lasted for years and wished it could have lasted longer. The time playing and making memories, not just in League of Legends but in many other games, would not be something I would trade for my life.

I also love League of Legends for the game Legends of Runeterra which is a card game. Before this I loved card games with the traditional deck but Legends of Runeterra was a trading card game like Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh. I play that almost daily and it allows me to play strategically around with my opponents. I love playing and making them surrender. I do not like to win. I want to make my opponent feel so powerless and trapped that they don't have a way out and have to surrender to end the game. I used to play it with my online friends but they didn't like it so I played by myself.

That's how it started. We all started playing our individual games and stopped hanging out together. I owe them a lot for what my friends did for me and it feels bad that we rarely talk now. However even if we grew apart the impressions they left were amazing and inspired me to go for my computer science major and work in depth with computers.
