Samuel Burke is a three-time Emmy Award-winning bilingual technology journalist and an executive in streaming, podcasting, and AI. He is the Chief Content Officer at Find.co, overseeing content for a fast-growing portfolio that includes Salon.com, CCN.com, Cryptomaniaks, Webopedia, and a wide variety of other platforms.

Burke has anchored, reported, and produced for CNN, CNN en Español, ABC, and NPR. He is the founder of Leumas Productions, a reporter for Fortune Magazine, and previously served as Vice President and Editor-in-Chief at Real Vision, a financial streaming platform.

He hosts the CNN podcast Suddenly Family, exploring the effects of shocking DNA results on families—including his own. During the pandemic, he created and hosted the innovative TV series #WFH — Work From Home.

Burke has reported from the front lines of major global events, including the Arab Spring, the Manchester Ariana Grande concert bombing, the Grenfell Tower fire, and multiple terrorist attacks in the UK. He has also hosted CNN International’s iReport and anchored CNN en Español’s Cibercafé for nearly a decade.

As a leading technology journalist, Burke covers the world’s biggest tech events and has interviewed top executives, including Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Alibaba CEO Jack Ma, Tinder Founder Sean Rad, Ford CEO James Hackett, T-Mobile CEO John Legere, former Intel CEO Brian Krzanich, former Ford CEO Mark Fields, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank, and TransferWise CEO Taavet Hinrikus. He has also interviewed heads of state, including Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, Israeli Prime Ministers Ehud Barak and Ehud Olmert, and Chilean President Michelle Bachelet.

He began his CNN career as an intern for Anderson Cooper and later became Christiane Amanpour’s digital and field producer. He traveled across the Middle East to cover historic events, including Egypt’s first democratic elections. Before joining CNN, he worked as a freelance producer for ABC News 20/20 and NPR affiliate KJZZ in Phoenix.

Burke studied Spanish linguistics at La Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and graduated summa cum laude from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. He earned his master’s degree in journalism from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where he now serves on the National Board of Advisors.
