Samuel Burke is a three-time Emmy Award-winning bilingual technology journalist and a senior executive in streaming, podcasting, and AI. He serves as Chief Content Officerat Find.co, where he oversees content strategy for a fast-growing portfolio that includes Salon.com, CCN.com, Cryptomaniaks, Webopedia, and other influential digital platforms.

Burke has anchored, reported, and produced for CNN, CNN en Español, ABC, and NPR. He is also the founder of Leumas Productions, a contributor for Fortune Magazine, and previously served as Vice President and Editor-in-Chief at Real Vision, a global financial streaming network.

He hosts the CNN podcastSuddenly Family, which explores the emotional and legal fallout of unexpected DNA test results—beginning with his own story. During the pandemic, he created and hosted the innovative TV series #WFH — Work From Home.

Burke has covered some of the most pivotal global events of the last decade, including the Arab Spring, the Ariana Grande Manchester bombing, the Grenfell Tower fire, and numerous terrorist attacks across the UK. He spent nearly a decade anchoring Cibercafé on CNN en Español and hosted CNN International’s interactive show iReport.

As a leading voice in tech journalism, Burke has reported from the world’s largest tech events and interviewed top executives such as Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Alibaba’s Jack Ma, Tinder’s Sean Rad, Ford’s James Hackett, T-Mobile’s John Legere, and Intel’s Brian Krzanich. He has also interviewed global leaders, including Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, Israeli Prime Ministers Ehud Barak and Ehud Olmert, and Chilean President Michelle Bachelet.

He began his career at CNN as an intern for Anderson Cooper, then became digital and field producer for Christiane Amanpour, traveling across the Middle East to cover landmark stories, including Egypt’s first democratic elections. Before CNN, he worked as a freelance producer for ABC News 20/20 and NPR affiliate KJZZ in Phoenix.

Burke studied Spanish linguistics at La Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and graduated summa cum laude from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University. He holds a master’s degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, where he now serves on the National Board of Advisors.
