Samuel Midgette is an American businessman, socially conscious innovator, and, visionary.

Midgette has developed three successful companies in his nationwide path in the U.S.

Midgette was born in Washington D.C. He has received a BA in Marketing at Howard University, a comprehensive research university in Washington D.C. He has a unique understanding of all ages and demographics, which has inspired his career path towards the global vision he is pursuing today.

In 1995, Midgette began the largest strides of his career at Solmate USA in Kansas City, where he led a group of designers in building the movement, which led the market trend, for clog shoes.

He continued to seek a growth platform that would lead to where he is today at Universal Broadband Communications.
His passion and love for children, and their development, has continued to inspire him today. Midgette had a wonderful childhood with his friends and still carries fond memories of North Carolina summers with his grandmother and large family.
His best memories in education, as a child, were with an elementary school teacher who really cared and paid close attention to her students despite the lack of resources and large class size. His teacher tried her best to provide individual attention to her students, instead of as a group, and captivated the students attention.

He believes that everyone should have a wonderful education as he was fortunate enough to have in his youth.

Samuel Midgette is an ardent advocate of the Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and Ernest Holmes schools of thought that have prefaced Rhonda Byrnes book; “The Secret,” which Midgette often refers to in his work.

He authored and helped publish a series of books called “Truth be Told” from 2010 to present. The series highlights the developmental achievements of African-Americans around the globe from 1600-present.

Universal Broadband Communications Interactive Learning System “The Black Box” provides that one on one experience.

Midgette was at ground zero of Hurricane Katrina following the storm and raised significant contributions for victims during the Kansas City chiefs game.
