James Ajibola Samuel Daramola, better known by his stage name Samwill is a British record producer, rapper and drummer based in Australia. His music spans electro dancehall, trap, and future bass. He is co-founder of NEXLVL, an Australian DJ duo based in Brisbane, Australia.

Samwill had his first taste of music in the church (RCCG Thamesmead, London) in 2007 when he picked up his first set of drumsticks. His passion in writing lyrics and rapping didn’t arrive till after moving to and spending 4 years in Australia from 2008.

He produced a track called “next level” in mid 2012 using FL Studio and performed it with church member Femi Akinboye. September 2012, He formed rap duo, D Swych with church member Femi Akinboye. They released three tracks via Sound Cloud titled “God is Good”, “Bring me Back” and “Weapon of the Enemy”. All three songs featured university friend and Australian Singer Epiphany Padfield.

In 2013, D Swych performed at Let the Wind Blow Convention held at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre in the presence of RCCG General Overseer E. A. Adeboye. Later in 2013, D Swych performed at a youth convention held at Newcastle, RCCG City of David. They also performed at Battle of the Bands held at Springfield Robelle Domain.

In the midst of performing with D Swych. James performed as himself under the name of James Deyy. Late 2014, James went solo and featured on “In your city” with Australia rapper and producer TomTom who he met in his music course electives whilst studying a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.

In July 2016, NEXLVL had their first performance at Birdees Night Club, Fortitude Valley. Concurrently, 2016 James grew his music skills further by studying a Diploma of Sound Production, majoring in electronic music production. He is due to graduate in December 2016. Samwill will be releasing a series of remixes as hinted on via his Instagram account.
