I have been in the publishing industry for the past nine years. Currently, I'm Director of Content & Character Development at Marvel Entertainment, developing and managing creative content for the company’s various publishing lines. My credits include Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Elektra and Hawkeye. Most recently, I co-created the first solo series to feature a Muslim female super hero, Ms. Marvel, which gained worldwide media attention, sparking excitement and dialogue about identity and the Muslim American struggle. I also serve as a Young Leadership Committee board member at the Seeds of Peace, an organization that promotes the empowerment of youth in regions of conflict.
