Sana Hameed

Hello there! My name is Sana and you’ve come across just a snippet of who I am. So let’s explore the basics!

Currently I am a senior at the one and only Troy High School within my lovely city of Troy where I strive, everyday, to make my mark within its depths. On a day to day basis, I engage with both the left side and right side of my brain. The creativity of my right side and the analytics of my left come out when I’m passionate.

I follow my passion and my passion follows the wind as it leaves traces wherever it goes. My passion drives me to capture life's moments with my camera lenses. It drives me to march the field with my fellow Troy High musicians. It allows me to volunteer my time at nursing homes, and hospitals, and daycare and tutoring centers so that I can leave always having learned something from my experiences.

I always experiment and ask questions, rarely settling with a one-method approach. And if mother is truly always right, I seek to find out why.

My obsession is my mother's cooking and my happy place is where my family is. My Pakistani culture means a great deal to me. And no, Pakistani and Indian are not actually the same thing.

Photographs vouch for my love of simplicity, my love for nature, and my nature to reflect. I take classes that I’m passionate about and convince my parents that they are also passionate about those classes.

My values and my morals make up my priorities and are the reasons that I build upon everyday. My ambitions are the reasons that I push myself beyond my limits and embrace temporary failure to distance permanent failure. I cry; I scream; I smile, and I laugh. And I let hardships turn into building blocks for the foundation that I lay for a brighter future.

I prioritize health because without a healthy mind and body cannot come healthy learning. Although I must admit it is hard for me to love and leave those things that are bad for me. Food. Yes, I am talking about food. And although sleep and I have a love hate relationship, I do try to come back to it as earliest as I can during the night.

This is indeed the tip of the iceberg as they say, (I haven’t even touched upon my love for the rock genre), however I am sure that in the future there will come opportunities for you to get to know me better. Thank you and farewell.
