I joined WECT/WSFX in June 2012 after receiveing a fellowship from Raycom Media. As part of my fellowship, I receive training in every department of the news station. I spend most of my time as a general assignment reporter and producer.
I was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and spent my childhood there. I spent some time in Montreal, Canada before moving to Atlanta, GA. I attended Emory University and graduated in 2008 with a Business Administration degree. I realized business was not my thing so I encouraged her parents to start an Indian radio station. I went back to school and graduated in 2012 with a Digital and Broadcast Journalism degree from The University of Georgia.
While I was at UGA, I interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta, GA where I learned the ins-and-outs of the news industry. I also reported and anchored Grady Newsource, UGA's student-run news station. I even spent time on the production side.
When I'm not working, I listens to music and watch TV shows. My favorite band is One Direction and my favorite TV shows are The Vampire Diaries and White Collar. I enjoy baking, playing with my American Eskimos (Angel & Lily), and taking road trips!
