Sana Ahmed

New York, NY

Hello, my name is Sana Ahmed. Product Marketing communications is the heart of my soul where I eagerly share information and train on the latest software releases, mobile applications and personal technology hardware. I influence cross-departments and external clients on how to approach and think about technology for selling and upselling. I love discovering new features and use cases that help customers and users adopt and win with technology!

I began my career as a Site Supervisor at Kaplan and transitioned into a Product Knowledge Specialist position at Sprinklr. I was lucky enough to combine my love for learning and technology into a dream path in technical communications.

I spent over 2 years at Kaplan thinking on my feet to implement and supervise learning programs in the private sector for teachers and students. For the following 2 years, I moved on up to an Assistant Director position at a non-profit literacy company where I experienced educational training from a non-profit sector.

After surrounding myself with the needs of teachers and students in NYC classrooms, I saw similar training needs in SaaS technology and IT.

Social media was on the rise and few early adopters saw its business driving forces! As a result of being in a pioneering field, many people did not know how to navigate through these new social tools.

In 2008, I transitioned into technical training by teaching business executives how to use social media for their business and marketing. From there, I moved into Mashable as an Assistant COO and did everything from an operations side.

I worked at Sprinklr where I did Account Management and Product Marketing management. I am a strategic and critical thinker, able to see the big picture, empower linkage between clients and the product. I helped Sales and Marketing with product awareness and user adoption through training and proactively driving the product to a position of market leadership.

Sprinklr is deemed the most powerful technology in the market by Forrester Research in 2013 ( http://spr.ly/SRPwave ). My roles include Account Manager, and Product Marketing Manager with concentrations in QA, release management, and post-production marketing strategies.

I currently work at IgnitionOne as a Product Maketing Manager, a leader in the marketing cloud technology.
