As a kid I was once told, "Young women should not be heard outside the walls they're contained in." To which I replied, "Then God shouldn't have given me such a loud voice." I was raised in an environment where I was constantly being reminded that I should be a certain way, but I knew even then that the only person with the power to impose limitations on me was me. To anyone out there that thinks I can't do whatever it is you think I can't, I have three words for you: JUST WATCH ME;)
