Sanam Sutirath Wazir is a human rights advocate, researcher, and author whose work focuses on questions of justice, accountability, migration, and social change across South Asia. Over the past decade, he has led research and advocacy initiatives with communities, civil society organisations, and public institutions, engaging issues that range from the legacy of the 1984 anti-Sikh massacres to the rights of migrants, refugees, and conflict-affected populations. Drawing on experience across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, he brings a comparative perspective to contemporary debates on rights and democratic participation. He is the author of The Kaurs of 1984, published by HarperCollins, and writes on history, politics, and public affairs.
