John, better known as, "Big John" or "King" is a Chicago Native of the Historically Jewish Neigborhood of Rogers Park, as a Poet he's seen the face of Rogers park scarred and changed many times over, from gentrification, gang life, and the impact of 9/11 on a neighborhood which was a mix of West Indian, Arab, Muslim/Jewish neighborhoods. This gives John the ability to engage a variaty of audiences and to speak candidly with those different form himself.
A student of life and culture, John has been known for his, savvy-yet direct approach to business and enterprise. His rude yet refined ambiguity when dealing with Black People and Racial tension has frustrated some and inspired others to think. Often offensive yet one who provokes thought and anger, often simultainiously, John's writings will either upset readers or make them laugh. Either way, they'll find themselves entranced.
