Mark Steven Lewis

I am an Internationally trained hairdresser with expert skills that are well rounded in the Hair and Beauty Industry. Having maintained a focus on education with international leaders, I have built a large repertoire of cut and color designs for all types of hair. Departmentalizing was never an option for me. I chose to stick with educating myself in all the areas of hairdressing, while the rest of the industry decided to change. I have an advantage over most hairdressers now because of that choice. I can provide a client with a seamless design concept from start to finish that includes all the services that are needed from my chair.

My dedicated focus on hairdressing is unchanged even after 30 years. I have around 12 years of platform work experience. I was hired to hold educational classes consisting of product knowledge or performing as an art team Hair-cutter or colorist.

I love working with photographers as a hairstylist. Fashion has always been an interest and avaunt guard styling is my forte. Creative freedom is my preferred hiring description. I do work well under artistic directors and have enough experience to work in any team situation to make sure my department is handled with the group goals as the directive.

My goals are simply to be successful as a stylist and salon owner. To manage any changes that come my way with a willingness to change if need be, and maintain a firm ground during the process. Finally, to continue to explore new ideas as a professional Cosmetologist and as a human being.
