I've often had the old “square peg” adage used to describe me. I don't mind, as I've never really aspired to settling into any single particular “round hole”. My interests, my experience and my talents are diverse and ever-evolving.

I'm a social creature & will talk to anyone anywhere regardless of which walk of life they come from for we all have a story, filled with triumphs, tragedies, love & loss to tell.

We live in an era in which acts of selflessness and kindness are rarely witness or commended, replaced instead with a "Me First" mentality that has become pervasive in our hurried lives. Compassion, integrity and honesty seem to have become optional character traits over the years, mediocrity is the "new black" and entitlement abounds.

While most would likely agree that the current state of the world could use improvement, how many of us can say that we've done something, be it ever so little, to help inch us forward today?
