Sandeep Kaur Litt

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada

I am a Graduate student (pursuing my PhD) in Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at U of S since January 2011. I work under the supervision of Prof. Andrei Smolyakov. My research is a combination of theoretical, analytical and numerical analysis related to ionospheric studies.

So far, I worked as teaching assistant in my department as help desk for Phys115, assignment marker for Phys115 & Phys117 and lab assistant for Phys117 labs. I will now be teaching Phys223-Mechanics I course under the mentorship of instructor M. Ghezelbash. This course serves as an introduction to classical mechanics of single-particle systems using Newtonian, Lagrangian, and Hamiltonian methods whose applications include linear and non-linear oscillations and gravitation.

Well, that was a bit professional part of me!!

About me, I am married to a very loving and caring man. I am 27 years old female basically from India. My husband is a Post-Doctoral Scientist at Shandong University, Weihai, China. I live with my 2 roommates here in Saskatoon. I am friendly by nature. I love reading, painting, listening music and cooking. Sometimes, I love to go out for a movie with my friends too, I like sci-fi and adventurous movies. And I don't even mind to have small naps whenever I find some spare time, I love sleeping too!!!
