From 2014 to September 2021 I was AVP, Global Network Services for a large financial services company. Previously I've run my own services business, helped build startups, and worked for large service providers. I've held roles spanning Marketing, Technical Sales,Network Engineering, Operations, Customer Service,Product Development and Digital/Web. Before all that I managed business and touring logistics for non-profit orchestras and other performers until I discovered my inner geek in 1995 and technology changed my life.

I got my start in tech through the mentorship of a senior tech expert so I give back by mentoring both informally and formally, especially through CanWIT and the Toronto Product Management Association.

I'm technical (network/infrastructure geek) but not a coder, though I've made a point of learning enough about coding to be effective managing development projects and collaborating with coders to create solutions that meet real business needs.
