Sándor Moldán graduated from the College of Fine Arts (UNSW) in 2002 with a Bachelor of Digital Media. He has nine years of experience in the advertising and digital media industry and currently holds the position of Art Director at Amnesia Razorfish in Sydney. His role encompasses varying disciplines ranging from design lead on brands including Pepsi, Diageo, World Vision Australia, Realestate.com.au and BT Financial Group, to concept development, user experience design, motion graphics and animation.
Prior to his career with Amnesia Razorfish, Sándor worked at Neo One, a Sydney based advertising agency in the role of broadcast and interactive media designer. He has also worked in a freelance capacity as both a motion graphics artist for a number of production houses and as a project manager in prototyping platforms for digital signage.
Sándor maintains an active involvement in multiple areas of the design community. In 2001, his work in immersive virtual reality was displayed as part of the "2001: Space Odysseys" exhibition at both the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney and Museum of the Moving Image in Melbourne. He has worked on a number of short films, one of which recently picked up multiple awards at both the West Hollywood and Southern California Film Festivals. Also, his research project into procedural terrain generation for next-gen games was recently released as part of the 2009 Unity Summer of Code.
In December 2009, Sándor co-founded Six Times Nothing, an independent game development studio, with a team of highly skilled developers in the U.S. He has hand picked a team of talented artists from all over the world to collaborate with them and production is well underway on their first game title.
