My educational background includes studies in Law, Communication Arts, Performing Arts, and Recording Arts at CUNY, Mount Saint Vincent, UCLA, and Harvard Online. I was fortunate to have been mentored and trained by the esteemed civil rights attorney Florynce Rae "Flo" Kennedy and the distinguished New York City Administrative Law Judge Rose Nussbaum.

Through paid internships at ABC-TV, Warner Brothers, and Atlantic Records, I gained invaluable experience during my teen and university years. I also performed Off-Broadway, wrote and recorded 30 songs in Los Angeles, and interned at and was published and featured as an artist in Music Connection Magazine. Additionally, I served as a graduate intern at the Mayor's Office of the City of New York and worked in the Office of the Mayor at Beverly Hills City Hall.

My professional career includes composing EEOC policies and monitoring Process Improvement Teams in the Executive Office of the West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center. My policy recommendations were implemented under former NYC Mayor and ACS Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta. I am also deeply committed to my recent work with Americans with disabilities, which has significantly enhanced their quality of life.
