JUJUY, ARGENTINA

Chosen as the 2nd best destination for 2018 according to National Geographic, Jujuy is located in the extreme northwest of Argentina and is home to the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a narrow valleycovered with rocks made over millennia. Apart from the impressive postcard that is the Serraníade Hornocal, in Jujuy we also find the small village of Purmamarca, which despite the passage oftime preserves intact its indigenous traditions. Just behind the town stands as a backdrop the Hillof Seven Colors, a dream hill and multiple shades thanks to the work of the land with its strata andsediments.

PUERTO WILLIAMS, CHILE

The city at the end of the world. If you want to know how people live in the extreme landscapes of southern Chile, then Puerto Williams is the place. And not only that, since the city is located on thenorthern shore of Navarino Island, which has the Dientes de Navarino trekking, the southernmostin the world. Just where the Pacific and Antarctic oceans meet is also Cabo de Hornos NationalPark, those you can visit with Exoticca luxury holiday packages.

One might think that the flora is nil in a sector so close to Antarctica, but nature is resilient and has even developed endemic species in these conditions. If you're lucky, here you can spot thealbatross, the world's largest seabird (up to 3.5 meters in wingspan) and marine mammals such aswhales, dolphins and seals. Puerto Williams can be reached by sailing from Punta Arenas, crossingby catamaran from Ushuaia or on DAP flights from Punta Arenas that take 1 hour and 15 minutes.
