Toronto, ON, Canada
I'm been editing and writing professionally for over 10 years. I studied history and English at the undergraduate level and earned a BA from the University of Toronto. Later, while working for investment banks in Toronto and New York City, I acquired the Chartered Financial Analsyst (CFA) designation. My editorial training includes courses in copyediting and structural editing at Ryerson University, as well as seminars on various topics related to the profession. I completed a three-month editorial internship with HarperCollins Canada in 2001. Currently, I'm working on the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) credential.
I'm a member of the Editors' Association of Canada (www.editors.ca) and the Editorial Freelancers Association (www.efa-org.com) in the U.S.
