Sandra Martin

I live and work in the area of Dallas, TX.

I'm one of those people who loves the work they do. As you read these words I am an LPC Intern, supervised by Sharon Good, M.A., LPC-S.

Before seeking licensure as a proessional counselor I pastored a church plant in a small, addicted community in East Texas; spent 17 years in pastoral counseling; traveled during eight summers to the Amazon region of Peru to teach pastors and prospective pastors and to minister in churches along rivers that feed into the Amazon; and did market place ministry writing and editing for small-town newspapers.

As well, I have published six works, including: Healing Hope Deferred and its partner, Healing Hope Deferred...for Teachers and Other Hungry People; The Joy Component: Foundation for Discipleship; Laying the Foundation for Healing and Deliverance; When the Soul is Splintered: Pastoral Care for the Soul Shattered in Trauma; and Bite Your Tongues.

It is my hope that the Sketches presented here will be of some value to you as you exercise your curiousity about what somebody besides you may be thinking in a given moment Thank you for visiting this page.
