Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, I've been a creative thinker since a very young age. While I started out wanting to be a world-renowned novelist but found the hours on end of working alone were isolating. I love working and collaborating with others in order to create the most unique and vibrant story-telling spaces from the ground up.
When I'm not holed up in a writer's room, I'm out and about, helping produce shorts and web content, as well as serving as an assistant director. I thrive when I'm given the chance to organize, as well as work with others to keep a shoot going. Whether it be a short film or content meant for YouTube, I do my best to keep the shoot running like a well-oiled machine and am ready to pick up the pieces when things go awry.
As a former United States Fencing Association nationally-ranked fencer, I'm no stranger to long hours and hard work. As well, though, I'm also very aware of working on tight deadlines; it's how I ended up qualifying, competing, and placing 22nd in the 2009 Summer Nationals after only a few weeks of preparation.
I'm very competitive at heart, and because of this I have one major hobby that takes up the majority of my free time when I'm not planning video shoots and story developing: video gaming. I love absorbing as well as creating content having to do with my favorite video games, and am currently working on a giant 130+ video item index for my favorite video game, DOTA 2. I am constantly looking for ways to incorporate my three loves - writing, video producing, and video gaming - so that I can help in my own unique way to advance the video gaming community.
